The stunning 9 hole course, situated in the heart of the Powys countryside between Welshpool and Newtown, presents some interesting challenges coupled with spectacular scenery from every part of the course.
Amongst its most notable features are the proximity to the historic Montgomery Canal and the magnificent River Severn.

Clubhouse & Restaurant
One of Lakeside's greatest assets is the beautiful modern clubhouse and restaurant set in 60 acres of lush, rolling and scenic countryside.
From the decked patio area with panoramic views of the golf course, to the relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere of the lounge, bar and Lakeside Restaurant, encourages our guests to return time and again.

Penllwyn Lodges
Adjacent to the Golf Course we have 19 log cabins and 1 cottage. These are situated in a woodland teeming with wildlife and overlooks the lake, golf course and canal. Breaks and weeks are available so why not come and play golf and relax with an overnight stay.
Golf packages are available for customers staying at the lodges.
Argae Hall
Argae Hall is situated adjacent to the Golf Course with 101 statics. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Mid Wales countryside on the banks of the river Severn. There is an abundance of shrubs, trees and lawns and each caravan is fully serviced with mains water.
We have permanent and 6 month tourers on site and a new development for this season for 10 static caravans.
